Olive Oil Quality and Marinades?

So when preparing a marinade that uses olive oil and will probably be marinading meat for 12 hours or so, do I want to use good quality olive oil or not as good quality?


And how noticeable will the quality of the olive oil be on the final product?Olive Oil Quality and Marinades?
Olive Oil has a high burning point so its not the best for cooking meat at high temperatures, but if its only used as a marinade it may not make a big difference. Because its only a marinade, the taste may not be different either way.
