Which quality Olive Oil for cooking/ frying vegetables?

can extra virgin olive oil be used in cooking involving extensive heating for longer periods? which quality olive oil can be used in the preparation of curries and pasta dishes.Which quality Olive Oil for cooking/ frying vegetables?
I use extra virgin olive oil for frying vegetables. It's healthy and tasty.Which quality Olive Oil for cooking/ frying vegetables?
I always use light virgin olive oil.
low heat. pasta does not require high heat or a long period of time. use canola oil for your experiments. it is cheaper.
Philipe Berio is recommended by Rao's Restaurant in New York and I use it all the time. I have never used olive oil for extensive heating over long periods.
